Unflush Toilet Bowl
Our 3 year old hillside home in Portland has the lower floor built on a slab. The toilet in the lower part of the home does not flush very nicely. Even if there is no waste in the bowl, it seems to flush "up" (complete with a large air bubble) and then out. This toilet backs up constantly and has overflowed at least 10 times since we have lived here. Seems like only a very minimum amount of waste can be flushed. Do we need a new toilet or extensive pipe repair?? Or Do you think a Great handyman could able to make solution for this without replacing our old toilet or old extensive pipe?

Some of the screws or nails in our wallboard are "puffing out"; that is, there are little raises in the walls. What is the best way to fix these. The house in Portland is about four years old and was constructed from during the winter/spring of 1994. I am bodering about the wall might totally raised  up! You think its just a small problem i can solve without the help of a handyman? or Is it best to have a small deconstuction or Ill just look for a handyman that could make solution for it?

I need to do something to repair a problem with my plaster walls. The current finish is smooth, but all the walls have cracks that span the walls and in some areas the plaster has "egg shell" or a maze of fine cracks. We both work full-time, so I would like to take the easiest way out that would be a good fix. What do you think we can do? Do you think it is best if we just hired a handymans that could fix this? Do you think handyman from Portland can handle this kind of problem properly?

We recently had some water damage on the ceiling of our bedroom here in our home in Portland. It appears that some mold/mildew is on the surface. So I decided to call a handyman for it. They fix the roof to stop water from entering our home, then they remove damaged (wet) insulation from the attic then they also. Remove damaged drywall from the ceiling and Clean exposed wood with bleach to kill the mould/mildew then until time dry it they installed new drywal. The action of the bleach will short-lived and will not cause any damage to the wood. Now molds are gone!! They even not back.. And it is neatly clean absolutely good job by a good handyman thanks to them..
