Tile Removing
I own a house built in the 1940's here in phoenix  . Someone covered the floors with black felt paper and vinyl tiles. The tiles came up easily enough, but the black paper will not. I have tried using a heat gun and scraper,
but the results are very slow. Any ideas on how to speed up the process? I have think to hired a handyman and besides i am too old for this kind of work and I have a whole house to do! But i worrying about the expences, they
may charge so expensive and i dont have a lot of money for it. Is there any handyman you know that charge cheaply in their service?

I removed linoleum from my bathroom floor in phoenix . Some of the old paper backing is still stuck to the floor. I have really used a lot of 'elbow grease' in attempting to remove it but, it's tough. Since it seems to be on
there really solid and, I am replacing the old linoleum with 1/4" x 12" x 12" tile,  I have no other idea on how to remove it if i am going to hire a handyman, is it cost expensive for this work? Or can you give me some tips
from a handyman on how i can remove that stack on paper?

My door, which is about 12 years old, same as my house in phoenix , believe it or not, will hit the header above as it opens. I have only been here 2 years, so I don't know if this has been an ongoing problem. It jammed some time ago, and broke the chain wheel to my garage door opener. It is a double door roughly 16' x 8'.  I have temporarily re-positioned the top hinge to clear the header, however, this leaves too large of a gap that wasps seem to easily find. I also lose too much heat in the winter, when I work out there on my car. I was also unable to find any information in any of the home repair/maintenance books I have or have seen. Is handyman is the answer for this too little problem? Or any handyman webpages that can give me some idea??

Hi I am living here in phoenix Our toilet bowl does not have enough water in it! Yup, a daily mess because it doesn't flush completely most of the time. I want to call a handyman but im shy for them to see this itchy toilet bowl. Do you think they wouldnt mind this and be professional on solving this problem?

After handyman's replacing parts in my toilet tank here in phoenix  it doesnt have even minor leak. They install  new style flappers and new flush valves. The water fill valve is also new and seems to work fine. I really appreciate their work it was an excellent job!! thanks handyman and congrats for a job well done!
